Women join each other to learn, inspire, and network with other women who work hard creating their home-based businesses or ones who have opened businesses in Merritt, BC. The "Women's Fair" was held at the Civic Centre in Merritt, BC. On Saturday, March 18th, 2023. Attending Nicola Valley Women's Fair was truly a highlight for me. Getting to meet and hear individual personal stories was a day of inspiration. Coming together for this full day at the Nicola Valley Women's Fair was truly inspiring. Making new connections, seeing old friends, and perusing all the beautiful handmade arts & crafts. Also featured were women guest speakers throughout the day, who touched on topics such as mental health, opening a business, and the daily experiences of being a police officer. Listening to other women who face the same issues every day, such as juggling work and home, and many taking that leap to become independent and start a home business in Merritt, BC.
